Treecko- Treecko is a very sp offensive pokemonso If I were you I would pick Treecko(just a suggestion).
Torchic- Torchic is very offensie poke its final form is a good sweeper its also a good pokemon to start with.
Mudkip- Mudkip is a very great starter its also a good wall when it evolves.

I feel its worth noting that a swords dance set has some viability with sceptile.

im stuck on houndoomed i keep getting owned by his moxie salamence how can i stop it sweeping me please comment some help (hoenn is my fav region plus salamence is from it so i thought you could help)

I know im not the professor, but i think i can help here. I would recomend a scafed starmie with ice beam for the job. Also, you could add trick to the set as a way off crippling walls. With the popularity of dd mence and scarfed chomp, not even counting hydrogeon and latios, its a great way to get past those pesky dragons sitting at +1 speed. Another note: be sure to run timid to outspeed scarf jolly chomp. hope i helped
